In Roman times, the port of ancient Barcino occupied what is now the Moll de Bosch i Alsina, better known as the Moll de la Fusta. Recently refurbished to make it accessible to people with disabilities, this dock is today one of areas in the Port Vell’s that is most fully integrated into the city.

The huge area contained in its central space and its proximity to the Passeig de Colom car park make the Moll de la Fusta an ideal venue for great events designed to attract large crowds.
