El Far (“The Lighthouse”) Consortium was established in 1993 as part of the process of regenerating Barcelona’s sea front, opening up the city to the sea once more. The Consortium runs a nautical training school, as well as coordinating environmental projects on the Catalan coastline and promoting employment in the nautical sector.
